What is MQTT? MQTT stands for MQ Telemetry Transport. It is a publish/subscribe, extremely simple and lightweight messaging protocol, designed for constrained devices and low-bandwidth, high-latency or unreliable networks.
How to Configure It
- Hostname or IP Address: Enter the host url or IP address of the MQTT server
- Port: Port the sever is running on
- Client ID: Beats the hell outta me.
- Secure (ssl): So you want to use a secure ssl connection?
- Require Authorization: If checked, then enter a username and pasword for the server.
- LWT: Little Wu Tangs
- Oh, not that. Last Will Topic. Enter the Last Will Topic and Last Will Message to be sent before disconnect.
